A flexible barrier that adapts to any terrain
The combination of free-standing modules and the flexible membrane creates a highly adaptable system capable of sealing off uneven terrain. The modules can be angled to form curves and corners and positioned to bypass obstacles. The membrane extends up to two meters in front of the barrier, providing optimal sealing. As water pressure is applied, the membrane conforms to the surface, ensuring a secure seal.
Using floodwater for stabilization
The Haawal barrier features an L-shaped cross-section, comprising a wall and a base plate reinforced by a support wire. During a flood, the hydrostatic forces exert greater pressure on the base plate than the wall, resulting in a barrier with exceptional stability.

The Haawal Flood Barrier can adapt to almost any situation, without the need for special components or tools. Setting up 90 degree turns is as simple as inserting the wall at a right angle onto the base. As each module is self stabilizing, smaller angles are easily achieved by setting up each module at an angle to each other.
